For more than a decade Mrs. Crawford worked as a medalic sculptor and product designer for the Franklin Mint Corporation near Philadelphia. She sculpted bas-relief art for commemorative medals and reproductions of Renaissance art masterpieces. Her sculptures include reproductions of works by Leonardo DaVinci, Michalangelo and Raphael.
Her porcelain and crystal designs have been produced by such noted houses as Lalique, Limoges, Royal Copenhagen, Royal Dalton and Wedgewood. She also designed porcelain equine sculptures for Lenox Collectables and the Maruri Porcelain series, “Horses of the World”.
The artist holds a B.F.A. from Kutztown State University Kutztown, Pennsylvania. She also studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and the Tyler School of Art, Philadelphia.
